Japan launches elderly care giver scholarship programme

MAJA Education Centre has informed that the new Care Giver Scholarship Programme, which will allow the candidates to work in elderly care, has been launched by Japan.

Scholarship winners will have the opportunity to attend a language school for one year with a student visa, and then with a Tokutei Visa, they will have the opportunity to work in an elderly care centre in Japan for five years.

Those who are interested in the health care profession will have the opportunity to go to Japan for study and work at a lower cost and obtain a Tokutei visa.

In terms of qualifications, applicants must have passed the Japanese N3 level or above (JLPT, NAT-Test, Top J, J Test), must be a Myanmar national holding a degree, or have passed the Grade 12 or the first year of university, and must be between 20 and 27 years of age. Applicants must be interested in caring the elderly and sick person, and able to live and work in Japan for many years. Priority will be given to those with experience in elderly care and nursing, and they must be in good health and have passed the basic medical examination before going abroad.

Interested persons who meet these qualifications can fill out the specified Google Form and register by 20 August, according to MAJA Education Centre.
