Investments surge in Bago Region, creating job opportunities

According to the Bago Region Investment Committee, local investments exceeding K5,000 million were made in the region in March, resulting in the creation of 56 job opportunities.
Ayar Yoma Agriculture and Trading Co Ltd invested K5,654.736 million in rice milling and distribution.
The Bago Region chief minister announced that investments are sought for parboiled rice mills, oil mills, meat and fish cold storage facilities, solar panel factories, and fertilizer factories.
Since 1 February 2021, more than US$198 million in foreign investments and more than K81 billion in local investments have been made. These investments have led to the creation of 11,537 job opportunities. — TWA/TMT
