International-standard private hospital to open in PyinOoLwin

According to the Ministry of Health, an international-level private specialist hospital will be established in PyinOoLwin, Mandalay Region, through the Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT) system.
The international-level private specialist hospital will be built on state-owned land under the BOT format.
The hospital will assist the private health sector by giving priority to special treatment for eye disease and cancer, urinary and kidney disease, kidney transplant surgery, and general health services, according to the Private Health Division of Medical Services Department.
Citizen investors who wish to establish and open a private specialist hospital on state-owned land can submit proposals of interest in the hard copy and soft copy (Microsoft Word) of the Department of Medical Services by 2 September.
The proposed application forms can be sent to the Private Health Division of Medical Services Department, Ministry of Health, Nay Pyi Taw, via email at [email protected], as stated by the Ministry of Health. — TWA/KZL
