Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khine meets Indian Ambassador Mr Abhay Thakur in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Thet Thet Khine met Mr Abhay Thakur, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They cordially discussed public-private tourism promotion cooperation between the two countries in order to know more about Myanmar’s destinations, India-Myanmar bilateral tourism promotion plans and invitational plans of tourists from India as well as international tourists, promoting Myanmar’s destinations and tourist attractions through social media by recording tourism promotion videos, plans to invite individuals from India’s tourism industry to Myanmar for familiarization trips (FAM-Trip) and cooperation matters for the convenience of currency exchange for tourists. — MNA/KZL
