Illegal weapons confiscated in Kalay, Sagaing Region

According to the report, security forces searched the house of Hlaing Tun, who lives in Thazi village, Kalay Township, Sagaing Region. They arrested him with 49 iron pipes used in making homemade guns.
While investigating, security forces were attacked from the west of the house with small arms and retreated when they were retaliated. One MA-13 gun, one magazine, 28 bullets and a phone was seized from there.
The security forces searched primary assistant teacher Myat Myat Khine’s house next to Hlaing Tun’s house. Although she was not found but nine bullets and 1.3 million kyats, which were transferred from abroad in order to provide those who join CDM and terrorists, three envelopes on which “Democracy Friends” was written, and anti-State slogans were confiscated.
Those who are arrested together with illegal weapons will be taken effective actions according to the law. —MNA
