Foreign countries aid organizations committing terror acts

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing unveiled that national race groups, Tatmadaw members, and Myanmar Police Force members assaulted terrorists and seized arms and ammunition to be sent to terrorists in some regions.
Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered an address as mentioned above at the SAC Meeting 3/2024 at the SAC Chairman Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

Speaking on the occasion, the Senior General said that Tatmadaw and MPF are serving security measures across the nation as part of discharging duties to ensure the perpetuity of the sovereignty of the State.

He disclosed that terrorists set fire to towns and villages they lost, destroying the property of innocent people with vulgar activities.
The Senior General spotlighted that although the State Administration Council is implementing the genuine, disciplined multiparty democratic system, terrorists are solving political issues with terror acts.
Security forces are serving duties of hampering trafficking of narcotic drugs and arms and ammunition of terrorists while sustaining peace and stability of relevant regions, he added.
The Senior General said that some foreign countries, directly and indirectly, help the organizations committing terror acts in various ways and means.

He unveiled that the government will accelerate security measures as terrorists attack some security posts.
The Senior General stressed the need for the socioeconomic development of the State, emphasizing operations in agriculture, livestock breeding, and trade sectors and urging businesspersons to invest in agriculture and livestock sectors.
He noted that some four million acres of vacant land should be planted under sunflowers to contribute to local cooking oil sufficiency.
With regard to the economic sector, the Senior General recounted those unscrupulous businesspersons committed a financial problem based on the inflation rate with unprecedented changes in gold and currency prices in April. However, the government conducted necessary investigations to turn these prices into normality gradually.
He retold that although the country faced economic sanctions and activities that caused the collapse of the banking system with the monetary system in disorder, the government could endeavour to revive the State economy to some extent.
He added that it is vital to ensure the stability of the inflation rate as various attacks on Myanmar aim to decline the State economy.
He stated that although some armed ethnic organizations violate agreements of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement, Tatmadaw controls its activities for the sake of the Union without attacking their camps except for self-defence activities.
The Senior General disclosed that plans are underway to hold talks with political parties and NCA signatory EAOs in the near future to forge peace in the Union.
He noted that the KG+9 compulsory education scheme is being implemented for all school-age children with provisions of stationeries free of charge.
He counted that some seven million students attended the basic education schools till yesterday, but some schools in Chin State, Kayah State, Rakhine State and northern Shan State, as well as upper Sagaing Region, cannot open for students.
He instructed officials to open all schools, including closed schools, to enable students to peacefully learn education, whereas officials need to take security measures for education staff.
The Senior General disclosed that no action other than destroying the education sector is vulgar. It is necessary to nurture citizens to be educated and turn out many educated people for the development of the nation.
The Senior General recounted that during the six-year period from 2012 to 2018, he at the capacity of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, had implemented the literacy campaign for Tatmadaw members who were weak in educational knowledge.

The Senior General underscored that holding the election in accord with the 2008 Constitution is the ultimatum vision of the State.
He emphasized that the enumeration of the population and household census will be conducted in the coming October, adding that only when the census can be enumerated fully will the correct voter lists come out so as to hold the election successfully.
The SAC Joint Secretary and council members reported on the registration of political parties for their establishment, action taken against those who committed economic instability, rising inflation and instability of gold and monetary markets, and seizures of arms and ammunition in addition to the opening of schools this year.
The Vice-Senior General presented preparations for possible natural disasters in monsoon and collaborative efforts of ministries and officials for providing quality strains of crops, inputs and agricultural techniques to farmers to meet the target production.
