The Higher Education Department has published the lists of candidates admitted to distance education courses. Starting 11 December, students who have passed the 2023 matriculation exam can check the lists of admitted students for first-year distance-learning classes. This information is available at their respective degree colleges or universities and can be accessed online via www.moe.gov.mm or www.dhe.gov.mm.
Of the 161,850 individuals who took the matriculation exams in 2023, 109,850 candidates passed. Vocational degree colleges and universities began their programmes in November, and the launch of distance education degree colleges and universities will commence soon. — TWA/NT
