Heavy Industries Enterprise No 3 seeks bids for C-grade long-staple cotton

No 3 Heavy Industries Enterprise under the Ministry of Industry invited a tender to purchase 500,000 visses of C-grade long-staple cotton in the current financial year 2024-2025.
The tender proposal stated to buy 200,000 visses of C-grade long-staple cotton for No 1 Textile Factory (Shwetaung), 100,000 visses for No 3 Textile Factory (Sagaing), 100,000 visses for cotton ginning factory (Taungdwingyi) and 100,000 visses for cotton ginning factory (Yamethin) operated under No 3 Heavy Industries Enterprise.
A tender form will be sold on 31 July, and the tender closing date is 13 August. Individuals can enquire details through the contact number of the production department of No 3 Heavy Industries Enterprise located at office No 37 in Nay Pyi Taw (Ph: 067 3408138, 067 3408439, 067 3408492).
Myanmar Economic Corporation (MEC) also called for a bid to buy 917,927 visses of long-staple cotton for the cotton ginning factory (Myittha). A firm price quotation for cotton, including delivery charges to the factory, must be submitted during a tender meeting that is scheduled to be held at MEC headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw on 1 August 2024. The Ministry of Industry also called for tender in early May to buy 3 million viss of cotton, including 2.9 million viss of A-grade long-staple cotton and 100,000 viss of C-grade cotton, for No 1 Textile Factory (Shwe Taung), No 3 Textile Factory (Sagaing), No 4 Textile Factory (Pwintbyu), cotton ginning factory (Taungdwingyi), No 7 Textile Factory (Myittha), No 8 Textile Factory (Pyawbwe) and cotton ginning factory (Yamethin) operated under No 3 Heavy Industrial Enterprise during the 2024-2025 financial year. — NN/KK
