Golden Academy brooch to be given to senior award winners at upcoming event

The Golden Academy brooch will be given to the senior academy award winners at the Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards Event to be held for 2019, 2020 and 2022, according to the statement of Myanmar Motion Picture Organization on 22 April.
“There are about 120 academy award winners who won the award in previous events. Of them, Golden Academy brooches will be presented to those who will attend the academy award event this year. Moreover, the five-tical gold statute will be awarded to the winners this year,” U Aye Kyu Lay, vice-chair of Myanmar Motion Picture Organization told the Global New Light of Myanmar.
The association will bear the cost of gold brooches. The film academy awards presentation event will be held in Nay Pyi Taw on 6 May. – Htun Htun/KTZH
