The malicious media are intentionally spreading the misinformation on social media platforms claiming that a school in Mitan village near Kyaikdon Town of Kawkareik Township was shelled by three 500-pound bombs in an air strike, destroying school and residential houses on 1 February.
According to the on-ground information, no flights were reported on 1 February in Kawkareik Township. This means that Tatmadaw’s air strike on Mitan village was a fabrication. However, malicious media that support terrorists are circulating misinformation on social sites. — MNA/TKO
