Fake news fabricates Kanhtooma Village ablaze by Tatmadaw in Taze Township

The subversive media Khit Thit is intentionally circulating fake news that security forces are burning down and destroying Kanhtooma Village located in Taze Township, Sagaing Region.
The truth is that the so-called PDF terrorists tried to attack the regional police outpost in Kanhtooma Village on 21 February. Therefore, fire exchanging occurred between security forces and the terrorists near the village. The terrorists retreated with casualties by shelling of heavy weapons by the security forces. The security forces then conducted regional security within and surrounding of the Kanhtooma Village after the terrorists’ retreat, as explained by an official from the security forces.
The malicious news outlets are intentionally delivering misinformation to poison the public and to humiliate the pride of the Tatmadaw security forces. — MNA/TMT
