Entrance fee for tourists to increase at Botahtaung Pagoda

The Botahtaung Pagoda Board of Trustees has announced that the entrance fees for tourists will be increased starting 1 December.
Previously, the tourist’s entrance fee was K10,000, but it will be increased to K15,000 for various situations.
About 100 tourists enter the Botahtaung Pagoda daily. According to the board of trustees, Vietnamese and Lao tourists are the most. — TWA/MKKS
