Dr. Win Myat Aye, Union Minister and Chairman of the Committee on Repatriation and Resettlement of Displaced people inspected, the conditions of the arrangements being prepared for the Taungpyo Lat Wae, Nga Khu Ya, Hla Phoe Khaung reception centres in Maungtaw yesterday morning.
Upon arrival at the Taungpyo Lat Wae reception centre, deputy director and in-charge of the Reception Centres U Ye Htoo reported to the Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye and party on location of the repatriation, on-going office procedures, arrangements being made for the temporary settlement, providing healthcare services and drinking water, measurements for providing toilet facilities, carrying out to keep the reception centres clean and on-going process.
Then, Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye and party inspected the immigration counters at Taungpyo Lat Wae reception centre, where they inspected places of providing aid, healthcare services and temporary reception centres for the displaced people.
U Htay Maung, in-charge of the centre and deputy director, reported on the readiness for the repatriation process and facilitating measures to the Union Minister, following this, Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye fulfilled the requirement.
Next Union Minister and party went to the Nga Khu Ya reception centre and checked the places where immigration process will be carried out, places of providing assistance, healthcare services, temporary shelters and the completion of rural house designs for the returnees.
At the Hla Phoe Khaung reception centre, in-charge of the centre and director U Soe Shwe Aung clarified the data of the camp, supply storage, healthcare, drinking water, supplying electricity and sanitation measures for the returnees.
Union Minister and party continued to the Hla Phoe Khaung reception centre where they inspected the clinic, providing drinking water, temporary shelters, playgrounds for the children and teaching aids for the school children.
During the inspection tours, Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye met with in-charge-persons of the centres saying that they had already prepared to make it ready for the repatriation process and scrutinizing process would be conducted in accordance with rules and regulations.
