DPM MoPF Union Minister attends Thailand’s Father’s Day event in Yangon

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein and his wife attended the celebration of Thailand’s National Day and Thailand’s Father’s Day, which is the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, held in the compound of the Thai ambassador’s residence at No 94, Pyay Road, Dagon Township in Yangon yesterday evening.
The ceremony was first opened with the National Anthems of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Thailand.
Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Mongkol Visitstump, and Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein then gave words of greetings.
The Union minister, his wife, the ambassador and his wife also had a documentary photo taken with those who attended the ceremony.
The ambassador and his wife served the attendees dinner, and the Thai cultural troupe performed traditional Thai dances. — MNA/KZL
