DPM MoFA Union Minister receives Chinese Ambassador-designate

Chinese Ambassador-designate Ms Ma Jia calls on Deputy Prime Minister Union Foreign Affairs Minister U Than Swe yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.

Ms Ma Jia, Ambassador-designate of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, paid a courtesy call and presented a copy of her letter of credence to U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe congratulated Ms Ma Jia on her appointment as the Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar. They also warmly discussed matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing “Pauk-Phaw” relations, the acceleration of Myanmar-China bilateral relations, and the mutually beneficial cooperation in both regional and international arena, especially in ASEAN and the United Nations. — MNA
