DPM MoFA UM receives China’s Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received the Co-chair of Mekong-Lancang Cooperation and Head of Delegation of China, Mr Nong Rong, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on the afternoon of 3 November 2023. During the meeting, they cordially discussed and exchanged views on matters relating to the advancement of “Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership Relations” based on the existing “Pauk-Phaw” friendship between Myanmar and China, and cooperation in regional and international arenas including the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation. — MNA
