Despite different duties, all Tatmadaw members are serving duties at all units of Tatmadaw

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing warmly greets Tatmadaw members and families from Meiktila Station at the hall of local airbase headquarters of Central Command yesterday.
Solidarity inside and outside the military units must be applied in serving the interests of relevant regions.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing underlined that no matter what Tatmadaw members are serving at infantry or light infantry regiments in frontlines or at other military corps, they must have capabilities of serving State defence and security duties successfully.
Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing gave guidance as mentioned above to Tatmadaw members and families from Meiktila Station at the hall of local airbase headquarters of Central Command yesterday afternoon.
The Senior General noted that as Tatmadaw is responsible for serving State defence duties, individual Tatmadaw members and relevant units must have capacity to serve the aforesaid duties.
He noted that applying the military techniques and maneuvers, all Tatmadaw members have to wipe off those undermining sovereignty of the State, and protect life and property of the people.
The Senior General stressed the need for individuals and units of military corps must have security knowledge and awareness with readiness to fight enemies.
The Senior General disclosed that Tatmadaw is encouraging Tatmadaw members and families to have results of the education promotion plan.
He continued that individuals need to read for accumulating general knowledge, while encouraging their offspring to learn education and read literature.
The Senior General instructed all Tatmadaw members and families to avoid the activities of declining their individual capability and harming their families and the organization due to drinking and indulgence.
He underscored that successful operating manageable-scale agriculture and livestock farming must primarily contribute to welfare of Tatmadaw members and families.
Leaders of units have to create good environment for subordinates and families and realize the fair administrative system through commanderly spirit and fatherly spirit he added.
The Senior General asked about requirements of Tatmadaw members and families and attended to their needs.
Also present at the ceremony were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Zwe Win Myint and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and officials.
The Senior General presented foodstuffs to Tatmadaw members and families of Meiktila Station through the station commander, and the wife of the Senior General gave cash assistance for the station maternal and child welfare association through the wife of the station commander.
After the ceremony, the Senior General, his wife and party viewed round regiments and units in Meiktila Station in a motorcade. — MNA/TTA
