The despatching process will be temporarily suspended for employment agencies that fail to submit cash transfer slips from MOU workers to their families.
The Ministry of Labour directed agencies to provide detailed reports on the circumstances of sending family remittances for individual workers sent by those agencies. The employment agencies confirmed that they are following these directives.
The ministry notified relevant agencies to compile family remittance lists for workers sent from September 2023 to April 2024. They are required to attach a Microsoft Excel file along with evidence of remittances and send it to the ministry no later than the fifth day of each month, starting in June.
In addition, the Ministry of Labour informed that agencies failing to submit the family remittance accounts on time will face temporary suspension and fines. — TWA/TKO
