COVID-19 vaccines for 90,000 people in northern Shan State arrive in Lashio

COVID-19 vaccines for more than 90,000 people in northern Shan State have arrived at Lashio yesterday morning via air travel.
Chairman of the Lashio Township Committee on the prevention, control, and treatment of COVID-19 U Zaw Naing Oo, Lashio General Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Ye Aung Tun, and officials received the vaccines.
It is reported that the vaccines will be distributed to respective townships in northern Shan State and will be administered according to the set guidelines at designated places. — Ohnmar Cho (IPRD)/GNLM
