COVID-19 responses continue at IDP camps in Kachin, Kayin, Shan

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement is cooperating with relevant departments and organizations to contain, protect and treat COVID-19 in IDP camps across the nation. The ministry supplied 3 wash basins, 3 infrared thermometers and 2 vinyl posters to three IDP camps in Waingmaw, Kachin State on 30 April. In addition, the ministry disseminated knowledge to two camps in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State, and gave 6 wash basins and 6 infrared thermometers to 6 camps in Muse and Kutkai townships, Shan State. The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement is implementing containment, protection and response to COVID-19 in addition to sharing knowledge, announcements and mental support in Nay Pyi Taw Council and states and regions. —MNA (Translated by Zaw Htet Oo)
