COVID-19 actions continue at IDP camps in Kachin, Shan states

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement is cooperating with relevant departments and organizations to prevent, control and treat COVID-19 in IDP camps across the nation.
The ministry supplied four wash basins and three infrared thermometers to Madein KBC, Khet Cho Alae (Kuathit) and Naunghi IDP camps in Waingmaw, Kachin State on 1 May.
The officials provided two wash basins and two infrared thermometers for the Mingyu, KoneSone and Mineyu Lay IDP camps in Kutkai, Shan State on the same day.
On 2 May, the ministry supplied two vinyl posters and two infrared thermometers to Lisu Baptist border IDP camp, and Year-2000 IDP camp in Bhamo, Kachin State.
The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement is not only implementing containment, protection and response to COVID-19 but also conducting educative programmes, and public awareness and psychological support activities in the regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. — MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
