The number of condominium residents in Yangon may soon rise, according to a report yesterday in the Myawady Daily.
“The condominium law has been reported to the Hluttaw, (and the) condo population is likely to increase, Daw May Su Aung, Director of Alliance International Development Co. told the Myawady Daily.
A condominium offers safe and sound living, with security staff, a 24-hour electrical supply and sufficient water supply. There can also be leisure facilities such as mini-cinemas, playgrounds, swimming pools and restaurants.
“Many construction companies have come to develop condominiums. Yangon’s accommodating style is possibly to change,” she continued.
Nevertheless, even middle-class people are still unable to afford condominium apartments because of the skyrocketing prices.
