Community Centre opened in Lashio

Union Minister for Information U Chitt Naing attended the opening ceremony of the Community Centre in Lashio yesterday.
The centre was jointly constructed by the ministry and Shan State Administration Council.
The Union Minister, Shan State Administration Council Chairman Dr Kyaw Tun and North-East Command Commander Brig-Gen Naing Naing Oo pressed the ceremonial button to unveil the Community Centre building. Then, the officials inspected the public booths, computer room, kids’ reading room, library, sports hall, multi-purpose hall, meeting hall and Sarpay Beikman bookstall.
During the second part of the event, the Union Minister made an opening remark. He said it should carry out for the sake of region and country as the Community Centre is established for the youths to support their studies, know what is right and what is wrong, and provide proper knowledge for Lashio residents.
Then, the Shan State Administration Council Chairman remarked and concluded the event. — MNA
