Ceremony held to hand over young ethnic people to their parents

MNDAA and TNLA terrorists forcibly detained the young ethnic people and made them attend terrorist training and serve their duties. The young ethnic people who did not want to serve duties under these terrorist groups fled from them and returned to the nearby Tatmadaw bases and departmental organizations.
The ceremony to hand over those fleeing from MNDAA and TNLA to their parents was held at the hall of the North-East Command with the presence of Commander Maj-Gen Soe Tint, departmental officials, town elders, victims and their parents.
The commander first made the remark, and officials presented cash assistance and foodstuffs to the young ethnic people. They also handed them over to their parents. Moreover, the commander and officials cordially met the youths. — MNA/KTZH
