Pilgrims are visiting the ancient cultural region, Bagan without stop and most of them are from Yangon, Mandalay and Bago regions, according to residents.
“There are still visitors in Bagan. Most of our clients are residents of Yangon in particular as well as Bago and Mandalay. Bagan has non-stop arrival of pilgrims,” said Ko Thant Zin who provides travel service for pilgrims.

Despite the monsoon season, the weather in Bagan is fine, making the visitor arrivals increasing continually, he said.
From Bagan, pilgrims continue to visit other towns.
“Some visitors from Yangon hire us to continue their visit to Mandalay or Taunggyi and Inle after they finish touring Bagan,” said Ko Thant Zin.
