The Anti-Corruption Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly organized an awareness seminar on anti-corruption under the guidance of the State Administration Council Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the event, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe briefed the audience the consequences of corruption, the importance of corruption-free public services and government institutions, and the formation of a Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU) for the ministry. Commission Chairman U Sis Aye then talked about the corruption that affects the all-round development of the nation and the need for government employees to serve duties honestly.
Next, the attendees discussed the anti-corruption measures and their experiences with CPU members. — MNA/KTZH
