Authorities share Pyidaungsu Hluttaw fund for development tasks

DSCN1107Taungtha, 2 Feb — A ceremony to present K100 million of Pyiadungsu Hluttaw fund to development tasks in Taungtha Township in 2014-15 fiscal year was held at the hall of Township General Administration Department in Taungtha, Mandalay Region, on 1 February.
Vice Chairman of the development tasks undertaking committee Amyotha Hluttaw representative U Myo Myint said that development tasks were carried out in the township without any mistake. The development fund benefitted the local people. Priority should be given to necessary tasks in the township, he said.
Secretary of the committee U Aung Kyaw Nyunt explained strong and weak points in undertaking the development tasks, enactment of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw fund law and future plans, opening of bank accounts and tasks to be undertaken in the region.
Vice Chairman U Myo Myint presented K36.205 million for carrying out 21 water supply tasks to the administrator of Taunglulin village-tract and the chairman of village-tract development supporting committee.
Joint Secretary U Than Htay Aung gave K17.68 million for 10 road and bridge works to officials of Letpadaw village-tract. Secretary U Aung Kyaw Nyunt presented K9.165 million for seven libraries and water taps for fire prevention to officials of Aye Village.
The Pyidaungsu Hluttaw fund in 2014-15 fiscal year will be spent on 38 development tasks in Taungtha Township.—Kyaw Myo Naing (Taungtha)
