Myanmar MMA fighter Aung La N Sang will take on Chinese fighter Fan Rong in the ONE Fight Night-10 tournament to be held in the United States on 5 May.
Aung La N Sang, who missed a chance to face him on 14 January, will battle against Fan Rong this time, and their fight will only be showcased as a middleweight challenge.
On 14 January, Aung La N Sang and Fan Rong were scheduled to compete in ONE Fight Night-6 in Thailand, but Fan Rong was infected with Covid-19, and Aung La had to switch fights with Brazilian Galvao.
Although Aung La continues to win, he has not yet been allowed to challenge for the middleweight world title. If he wins this fight, he is likely to challenge for the championship belt.
Aung La has won his last two bouts against Japanese Okami and Brazilian Galvao by first-round stoppage.
The ONE Championship organization will hold its first event in the United States on 5 May, and the flyweight world championship will be held as the main event, and current champion American fighter Johnson will fight with Brazilian Moraes.
In the United States, it will be held on the night of 5 May, so Myanmar fans will have to watch it early in the morning of 6 May. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
