Asian Bodybuilding: Myanmar shines with 2 gold medals

Myanmar has achieved notable success at the 56th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Championships, taking place from 6 to 12 August in Batam Island, Indonesia. The competition, which commenced on 10 August, saw Myanmar’s athletes secure two gold medals.
In the Men’s Bodybuilding 75-kilogramme category, Myanmar’s Ye Htun Naung emerged victorious, capturing the gold medal.
The silver went to India, while Malaysia claimed the bronze. Additionally, Myanmar’s Ni Ni Aung dominated the Women’s Model Physique up to 160-centimetre category, winning gold. China (Macau) secured the silver medal and Thailand took home the bronze.
Myanmar’s athletes Hein Htet Kyaw and Than Htike Oo also competed in the Men’s Bodybuilding 85-kilogramme and Men’s Sports Physique up to 170-centimetre categories, respectively. Hein Htet Kyaw and Than Htike Oo finished in fourth place in their respective events. The championships are ongoing, with Myanmar’s bodybuilders continuing to showcase their skills. — Arkar Linn/KZL
