ASEAN-Korea Startup Innovation Week 2024 welcomes Myanmar IT startups to join pitch competition

Myanmar IT startups are invited to participate in the pitch competition of the ASEAN-Korea Startup Innovation Week 2024, which will be held from 21 to 23 October, according to the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization.
The Innovation Week 2024 invites ASEAN early-stage startups. The selected startups must initially attend the acceleration program and business meetings virtually from 2 to 13 September. Then, they must be present at the event in Korea. The pitching contest is in which the selected startups must prove themselves by pitching their solutions to the judging panel, which will ask questions on 21 October. The top-seed startups will attend the award ceremony and fireside chat session on 22 October and join the Korean Startup Ecosystem Tour on 23 October.
The ASEAN-Korea Center will cover accommodation and round-trip flights for each selected startup for the event. The respective embassies of the ASEAN member countries in Seoul are asked to propose two startups. They must be qualified to meet eligibility and application requirements. Additionally, the ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ACCMSME) can recommend one entrepreneur for each ASEAN country. Furthermore, the participants must have the ability to comprehend English. Those interested in IT startups can send registration forms to the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization by 17 June 2024.
