Art, cartoon, poster and computer painting competitions to mark International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 28 and 29 March

Art, cartoon, poster and computer painting competitions will be held to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which fall on 26 June 2023, according to the Yangon Region government.
The competitions will take place at the No 2 Basic Education High School in Latha Township and information technology institutes on 28 and 29 March.
Yangon Region Drug Abuse Control Committee Chairman Minister for Security and Border Affairs Colonel Win Tint said at the coordination meeting of organizing the competitions held on 7 March that the contestants need to compete actively as it is the contest held as a public campaign to raise awareness among students and young adults to avoid drugs.
The competitions will be organized in three levels and it is necessary for teachers to train the students in advance who will participate in the competitions, he added. — TWA/CT
