Kaigo scholarship applications open 20 July

The Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA) Education Centre has informed that applications will be accepted from 20 July 2024 for those interested in the elderly care scholarship, which will be called for April 2025.
Programme I cover one year of Japanese language teaching, two years of nursing college, and five years of working in a nursing home, while Programme II covers two years of nursing college and five years of working in a nursing home. In Japanese language qualification, those who have passed JLPT/TopJ/NAT Test/Jtest (N3) and above (must present a certificate) and those who have passed N3 and above (those who will take N3 and above in July JLPT can apply) are eligible.
Requirements include 18 years old and under 27 years old, those who have passed grade 12 or at least the first year of university, not married, no tattoos (totally), and clear of infectious diseases like TB, hepatitis and HIV (only medically fit candidates can join interviews).
Passport PV holders (who have a QR code for PV), those who have applied for a student visa or other visas to Japan, and COE-rejected persons are not eligible to apply.
The application period is from 20 July 2024 to 4 pm, 26 July 2024. In order to apply, candidates need to fill out the Google Form and submit it together with a photograph (three centimetres by four centimetres), passport or QR code, proof of education, and a Japanese language test certificate.
MAJA Education Centre has also informed that applicants who have applied will be contacted with detailed plans related to the scholarship through emails filled in on the Google Form. — MT/ZN/ED
