Anti-corruption awareness seminar held in Nay Pyi Taw

The Anti-Corruption Commission and the Ministry of Home Affairs jointly organized an awareness seminar on anti-corruption in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae first said that corruption hinders the all-round development of the country and it should conduct awareness campaigns to create a truthful community that is against corruption.
He then appreciated the efforts of the Anti-Corruption Commission in conducting awareness campaigns for government employees. He called on the staff to avoid corruption in serving duties for the interests of the public.
Commission Chair U Sitt Aye said the commission is taking the anti-corruption measures as national tasks with three main sectors: education, prevention, and investigation.
He also highlighted the excellent points of holding such an awareness seminar for the staff.
Attendees then coordinated the discussion, and commission member U Kyaw Soe Lin led the talks with the Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU). — MNA/KTZH
