Altai Regatta Dragon Festival: Myanmar stands 1st with two golds

Myanmar rowers secured further gold medal at the men’s 10-oar 500 metre rowing event of Altai Regatta Dragon Festival held on 30 June in Barnaul, Russia.
The Myanmar team won the gold medal again and won the first place among participating countries.
During the men’s 10-oar 500 metre rowing event, Indonesia followed Myanmar, grabbing the silver medal and Cambodia garnering the bronze medal. Meanwhile, Team Philippines garnered the fourth place, Uzbekistan the fifth and Russia the sixth.
After the competitions, the Myanmar team won the two gold medals in the 200 metre and 500 metre events, but in the 2000 metre race, the Myanmar team tried their best, but they were satisfied with the 6th place as a result. — Arkar Linn/KZL
