All persons closed to positive soldier tested negative for COVID-19


A statement on a soldier who is serving at the Nay Pyi Taw Command testing positive for COVID-19 was issued on 4 May.
A total of 363 persons who had contacts with the positive soldier were monitored, and Defence Services General Hospital, Nay Pyi Taw, tested their samples with Cobas 6800 diagnostic machine on 4 May. The result showed no one tested positive for COVID-19.
An extensive investigation will be conducted in order to know how the soldier infested with COVID-19 though he didn’t go anywhere outside the military compound, according to the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services. —MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
