Agricultural inputs provided for monsoon paddy growers in Ayeyawady Regoin

Member of the State Administration Council Mahn Nyein Maung viewed cultivation of monsoon paddy with the use of paddy transplanting machine on 100 acres of paddy farm and harvesting of paddy as tripple crop in Mwedaw Shansu Village of Myaungmya Township yesterday morning.
The SAC member attended the ceremony to present agricultural inputs to monsoon paddy growers through the State economic promotion fund for 2024-25 financial year in Ukyun Village in Wakema Township and discussed use of quality strains of paddy seeds to have higher per-acre yield.
He viewed cultivation of paddy with use of paddy transplanters, potable paddy transplanters and drum seeders and presented agricultural inputs to local farmers from Ukyun and surrounding villages.
The SAC member together with Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win attended the ceremony to provide agricultural inputs to monsoon paddy farmers in Kwinya Tagundaing Village-tract of Einme Township and urged local farmers to use natural fertilizer.
The Regional Chief Minister explained efforts for growing paddy meeting the target produciton, increasing double cropping process and establishment of two oil crop zones after monsoon paddy cultivation.
They also presented agricultural inputs to local farmers through the State economic promotion fund and viewed ploughing of eight-acre farmlands, cultivation of monsoon paddy with use of paddy transplanters, potable paddy transplanters and drum seeders. — MNA/TTA
