Agri Dept calls for EOI for rice export registration with China

The Agriculture Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation called for an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the companies that want to seek rice and broken rice export registration with China.
The Sanitary and Phytosanitary Protocol (SPS Protocol) measures for biosecurity are required to send rice to China. According to an agreement between Myanmar and China, SPS protocol inspection is conducted every year.
Therefore, new companies that want to seek export registration are asked to submit EOI (hard copy and soft copy in a Microsoft Word file format) to the Agriculture Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Technical Working Group of MRF by 31 July.
The application form can be received from the Crop Protection Division of the Agriculture Department located at West Gyogon Ward on Bayintnaung Road, Insein, through contact number 01 644214 and email [email protected] and the Technical Working Group of MRF located in Lanmadaw Township through 01 218266-68 and 01 2301128-29 (9th floor) and email [email protected].
