Sittway residents are seen buying foodstuffs yesterday.

Tatmadaw Members of the local battalions under the Western Command, along with officials, sell essential foodstuffs at reduced prices, for the convenience of residents and departmental staff affected by Cyclone Mocha in Sittway.
A wide range of foodstuffs, including rice, edible oil, salt, meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, vegetables, onions, and garlic, as well as products from Tatmadaw factories and MEC such as instant noodles, biscuits, and canned food, were available for purchase at lower prices compared to the prevailing market rates. Additionally, electric devices and construction materials from private entrepreneurs were also offered at discounted prices at U Ottama Park in Sittway.
Locals and families of departmental staff expressed their gratitude for being able to buy essential foodstuffs at affordable prices during such difficult times. — MNA/KZW
