AFC U-19 Championship: Myanmar to play Vietnam today

Myanmar team will take on Vietnam in the 2024 AFC U-19 Championship Group B opener in Indonesia today.
Team Myanmar match will begin at 7 pm Myanmar Standard Time while Laos will face Australia in the same group today at 2:30 pm MST. A pre- match press conference for the AFC U-19 group matches was held yesterday and head coaches attended.
“As we all know, team Myanmar is in a tough group. There are good teams like Australia and Vietnam. Laos is also an improving team. Every team will prepare well for the competition, and the Myanmar team has also prepared the best. We will pay close attention to every match and compete at our best. At the moment, we are focusing on the opening game against Vietnam,” said Myanmar head coach U Aung Naing.
Myanmar is placed in tough Group B with ASEAN powerhouse Vietnam, world-class team Australia and Laos. Group matches will run from 17 to 29 July. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
