Advanced mechanized farmlands reclaimed

pic1Myaungmya, 11 Nov — Advanced 100-acre mechanized farming lands are being reclaimed in Ukyun village-tract of Wakema Township, Ayeyawady Region, under the arrangements of Ayeyawady Region government. Asia Adipati Company is implementing the project.
Head of Ayeyawady Region Agriculture Department U Myint Thein and officials inspected progress of implementation tasks and discussed future tasks with responsible persons of Asia Adipati Company.
With the aim of uplifting the living standard of local farmers, a plan is underway to reclaim 100 plots with 330 feet in length and 132 feet in width. The company will construct conduits, drains and production roads, Head of District Agriculture Department U Myint Aye.
The advanced mechanized farmlands are being reclaimed in 26 townships in the region, according to the district Agricultural Mechanization Department.
