A student falls to death from fourth floor of YUFL building

A student fell from the four-storey building of the Yangon University of Foreign Languages (YUFL) in Kamayut Township, and died on the spot, according to the social welfare organization.
The Gangaw Myay Social Welfare Association, a branch of the Myanmar Ambulance Network (MAN), rushed to the scene after receiving a report that a said student fell off a four-storey building on the campus of YUFL, located on the University Avenue in Kamayut Township, at 10:45 am on 28 June.
A responsible person said the deceased is a second-year student and fell from the fourth floor of the front balcony of the school.
An ambulance from the Gangaw Myay Social Welfare Association took the body of the deceased to the mortuary of Yangon General Hospital, and the Kamayut Myoma Police Station is conducting an investigation regarding the death.
It is known that a student had died from falling from that building on the campus of YUFL before. — TWA/CT
