A Myanmar national, a livestock farm worker in Malaysia, was hospitalized after eating an unidentified mushroom found somewhere in the forest this month, according to the Lovely Heart Philanthropic Myanmar Youth Blood Donor Group (Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia).
He was unable to urinate and defecate after eating the mushroom and required hospitalization. Being an undocumented migrant worker, he requested help to the group.
After being hospitalized for four days at Kuala Lumpur Hospital, he was discharged now. His parents want him back to Myanmar, so the group has given him a shelter at their office before sending him back home.
In Malaysia, there are allegedly cases of food poisoning after eating unidentified mushroom found in the forest and some even died, the Lovely Heart warned. – MT/ZS
