Two Myanmar students awarded scholarships by Global Elim Foundation in Seoul

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, two Myanmar students studying at Korean universities were awarded scholarships for the 2024 Fall Semester by the Global Elim Foundation during a ceremony held in Seoul on 23 August.
The award ceremony was attended by ambassadors from Myanmar, Peru, Honduras, Papua New Guinea, Kenya, and Tanzania, as well as diplomats from the countries of the scholarship recipients.
During the event, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, U Thant Sin, expressed his sincere gratitude to Dr Lee Yong-hoon, Chairman of the Global Elim Foundation, for providing scholarships to 34 international students from 15 countries, including the two Myanmar students. He also congratulated the students and encouraged them to excel in their studies, emphasising that the scholarship supports their academic aspirations.
Following the ceremony, the Myanmar Ambassador joined a lunch hosted by the Chairman of the Global Elim Foundation, together with the invited ambassadors and the scholarship recipients. — TWA/TMT
