Myanmar Embassy in Thailand.

As of 17 August, reservation system will be stopped and applicants for renewing PJ passport can come to do it at Myanmar Embassy’s consular service in person during office days, Myanmar Embassy to Thailand issued a statement on 13 August.

It said the embassy arranged token system for seeking appointment date in person to renew PJ passport, which validity will end on 30 June 2025, on every Saturday as of 2 December 2023.

Since the number of applicants for appointment date has become fewer now, appointment system will be stopped as of 17 August (Saturday) 2024  and those who want to renew PJ passport can come in person on office days without needing to make reservation, it said.

PJ passport renewal service will be provided until 31 July 2025, it said.
