The Ministry of Industry stated that the Central Committee for Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has been planning to hold an MSME products exhibition by the end of the year in Nay Pyi Taw.
The MSME products exhibition aims to enhance production, trade, investment, business networks and MSME resilience, effectuate the development of MSMEs, observe innovation and product quality, find solutions in the production chain to fulfil requirements, have closer relations between public, private and MSME sectors and penetrating international market beyond regional trade promotion.
The Ministry of Industry is committed to MSME development across the country. It also acts as a focal ministry for the development of the industrial sector.  It also finances entrepreneurs through an MSME development fund and helps them get access to technical assistance through workshops, raw materials sourcing, and digital technology support.
Additionally, the ministry established an e-market platform to explore markets and opened SME centres in Yangon Region, showcasing MSME products across the country. — ASH/KK
