Malicious media networks are intentionally spreading false reports that Tatmadaw carried out an airstrike on 4 August in Singu Township, Mandalay Region, resulting in the deaths of 13 civilians, including two children.
Investigations confirmed that no Tatmadaw aircraft were present in Singu Township on the reported date. Instead, it was PDF terrorists who fired heavy weapons and dropped bombs to attack security forces conducting operations in the area. Bombs landed in villages and exploded, causing civilian casualties. Subversive media outlets are incorrectly portraying these events to obscure the actions of PDF terrorists. — MNA/TMT
