MoC Deputy Minister departs for BIMSTEC business summit in India

Myanmar delegates are seen before leaving for India yesterday.

The Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Commerce U Min Min left Yangon yesterday for India by air to attend the Technology and Economic Cooperation Programme (BIMSTEC) business summit, which will be held in New Delhi from 6 to 8 August.
The business summit aims to create a transparent and smooth flow of business operations and to discuss strategic cooperation for better trade and economic prospects. International high-level officials, private businesspeople, advisory groups and experts from research associations, and production companies will discuss trading, logistics companies, energy services, and the implementation of the BIMSTEC Free Trade Agreement. — MNA/TS
