Myanmar hosts ‘International Friendship Day’ in New Delhi

The International Friendship Day 2024 was celebrated on 30 July at the Myanmar Embassy in New Delhi, aiming to strengthen further friendship, understanding, and trust between the people of Myanmar and India.
The event was organized by the Embassy of Myanmar in New Delhi in collaboration with the Indo-Myanmar Friendship Association and the Global Trade and Technology Council (India).
During the event, Myanmar Ambassador to India U Moe Kyaw Aung gave an opening speech. He expressed his pleasure at meeting the friendly communities from Myanmar and India on International Friendship Day, emphasized that Myanmar and India are good neighbours, and highlighted the importance of maintaining lasting friendship between the two countries.
The event was attended by diplomats, members of the Indo-Myanmar Friendship Association, business organizations, entrepreneurs, friends, and families. — ASH/TMT
