Applications open for Diploma in Agriculture, Livestock 1st year courses

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has announced that applications for the Diploma in Agriculture and Livestock first-year courses will be accepted for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The duration of the course is set at three years, and upon completion, a diploma certificate will be awarded. Those who pass the Diploma in Agriculture with excellence will have an opportunity to be admitted to Yezin Agricultural University, and those who pass the Diploma in Livestock with distinction will have the chance to be admitted to the University of Veterinary Science.
Those who want to attend the agriculture diploma course can apply for school admission at the Institutes of Agriculture and Livestock from Pyinmana, Thaton, Myaungmya, Shwebo, Patheingyi, Pwintbyu, Thayawady, Dawei, Heho, Myitkyina, Demawso, Hpa-an, Lonpee, Kyauktaw and Homalin respectively.
Those who want to join the livestock diploma course can apply for admission at the Institutes of Agriculture and Livestock from Pyinmana, Patheingyi, Heho, Pwintbyu, Thayawady, Thatone, Myitkyina, Hpa-an and Myaungmya.
Application forms for admission to diploma courses are available free from the above-mentioned nearest Institutes of Agriculture and Livestock. Applications must be sent directly to the Agricultural and Livestock Institutes, together with the specified documents, by 10 September.
The list of those allowed to attend and the opening date of the courses will be further informed by the relevant agricultural and livestock institutes. — TWA/KZL
