Myanmar, China eye promotion of multi-sectorial collaboration

On 17 July, Myanmar Consul-General to Chongqing U Kyaw Zeyar Lin met Director-General Ms Zhang Tao of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Sichuan Provincial Government.
They discussed promoting collaboration between Myanmar and Sichuan Province of China in economic, trade, education, cultural and tourism sectors as well as the resumption of direct flights between Myanmar and Sichuan Provance.
On 16 July, U Kyaw Zeyar Lin also met Director-General Mr Yang Lin of the Port and Logistics Office of Chongqing Municipal Government at the Port and Logistics Office in Chongqing and exchanged views on the operation of transport and logistics services by of the International Land and Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) in Chongqing, the conditions of transporting goods between Myanmar and Chongqing and the resumption of Chongqing-Yangon direct flights. — ASH/TMT
